the lack of an english-fluent staff definately takes away from the restaurant. the sushi is overpriced and unsatisfying. if the owner prepares your sushi then you'll find yourself shorted. seldom is the tappan well-prepared. aside from the food itself, the restaurant is clean and organized. it has a decent location and can get busy at times. dinner for 2 can bust your wallet (or purse) if caught off guard. however, overall dining experience can be pleasurable when the mood is right.
