I have been coming here for years, every 3 months or so for what used to be the best pedicure anywhere. They truly were the best - non toxic nail polish remover, specialty teas ad cookies, ovely crips white linens, fresh flowers, a perfect mic of spa luxury and efficiency. I had been noticing a decline the last two times I came - very high turnover of technicians - I used to know the girls here, and I don't recognize anyone anymore. The pedicures became sloppy, occasionally bordering on the painful, and gone were the cookies and lovely teas. \r
Today I waited for more than 20 minutes while three horrible women got very slow pedicures ate smelly cheeseburgers. I mentioned it to the owner who said "" what can I do if they order food in?"". I mentioned the wait and he said ""oh, she'll be done any moment now"". I mentioned someone who arrived after I did (I had at appointment mind you) and was already being taken care of, and he said ""she won't be long"". In other words, he couldn't have cared less. I said I'd have to reschedule and left, and he made no effort to keep me there. \r
It's unfortunate, but this place is no officially over. I'll have to find another place that compares to what LA vie l'orange once was.
