The owner of Mai Japanese Restaurant reopened it's doors again in another area, currently labeled Yotto Japanese Restaurant (name expected to be 'Mai' Japanese Restaurant soon). Their location can be found in the shopping center located at the intersection of Colony and Rea Rd.\r

Just as before, they still rank as my favorite sushi place to go. Everything is fresh from the Rainbow rolls to the California rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and the slices and sizes of the sushi are larger than what you receive at most other sushi places. All platters come served decoratively, beautiful and colorfully done. Even the unique Bento boxes and the succulent Teriyaki Beef entrees are made perfectly tender, flavored, and juicy. All the food is authentic Japanese food, made from experienced Japanese chefs, even their menu items are in Japanese names, but thankfully all items come with a description to aid those in the non-fluent.\r

I ranked this as 5 stars because of their brilliance of authentic Japanese foods, their perfection in the display of the food, the smiling and accommodating staff, and the mastery in their sushi. Even then so I'm pleased they still make their infamous Sapporo rolls and their unique pistachio rolls, though you'll have to special request them as they're not on the current sushi menu.
Pros: Freshness sushi, great service, authentic Japanese food, safe location
Cons: Not recommend parties of 30 or more, unless you reserve the entire restaurant.
