I've been to Paddy's 3 times now. The first time, the experience was awesome. The bartender there took good care of us and made us the best drinks EVER (called the Verve). So we went back. The server we got didn't pay any attention to us and we waited 30 minutes before we got our first round of drinks. We ordered Verves, and she brought the wrong drinks. We then waited another 20 minutes for the right drinks, and they were made awfully. After almost an hour of waiting and then being brought the worst drink ever, we were just going to leave. We thought it was a one time thing, so we went to Paddy's a few weeks later. We sat outside, and it was really hot. The server checked our ID's. My girlfriend had a temporary ID from the state of Oregon, and the server asked her for a second form of ID. She didn't ask us if we wanted to order drinks. Another server came out and checked our ID's again. She asked my girlfriend if her ID had come in the mail yet, and my girlfriend was like, ""If my ID came in the mail, I would have brought that one."" The server said, ""Well, you know it's only good for 30 days, right? It expires on the 22nd."" It was the 15th. After giving her a hard time about the ID (which was issued by the state, and that's what we get, so bars should get with the program), the server finally asked us if we wanted to order drinks. We did, and my girlfriend ordered a water as well. The drinks were fine, but no water was brought. Then someone else at our table ordered water and the server brought out water for everyone except my girlfriend. After waiting about 15 minutes, I just went up to the bar and got her a water. I don't know how/if these servers get tips.
