I ordered a dress from Bridal Mart 10 months before my wedding. I was told it would take 4-6 months for the dress to come in...no problem. After 5 months I had not received a call so I decided to call them and find out about my dress. The manager told me that I had cancelled my dress! I knew I had not and asked her for evidence. She tells me that she remembers my voice (from 4 months earlier!!!) When I asked what my options were, knowing they had sold my dress to another client, she was rude and hung up the phone on me! After calling many times I finally was able to speak with her again. I was told there were no options and I was out of luck. She also refused to give my deposit back that I had put on the dress. It took 4 more months, many phone calls from my brother (a lawyer), and meetings with the CEO just to get my deposit back. I had to quickly find a dress from another store to add to the hassle of it all. I strongly recommend that you do NOT go to Bridal Mart if you are looking to be treated with respect.
