I have been a customer of Atlantic Tire for several years now. I used to visit the Cary location, but I have been visiting the Durham location on Miami Blvd. for the past 3 years. I have generally been happy with the quality of their service. But of late, I am finding that they have become aggressive in pushing unnecessary repairs. First thing to notice is when you take your vehicle in for an oil change, you are asked to select between ""Good"", ""Better"", or ""Best"" from a sign on the counter. Excuse me? Why the premium selections when all you need is a simple oil change? It takes a little probing to figure out that the regular oil change is still available, though not included in the poster.
