Top tier of Kirkland pizza

Saturday, August 30, 2008
The pizza offerings are not quite as esoteric as say Pagliacci, but the quality is every bit as high - and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. My personal favorite is the "John Candy", which as you might guess features Canadian bacon. It does so in a unique way though, it's not just slapped on ala Dominos. If you have kids they'll enjoy watching them press dough in the special window set up for children to watch while the parents have a cold one. When I was there most recently I saw a good portion of the Seahawk offense dining. Big garage type doors open onto the sidewalk so the restaurant has an open, hip vibe. Service is above average. I know via my grandson Zeek's is a favorite for soccer and baseball team parties. They also deliver and I have them drop off one or two a month probably. It always seems to be about $26, which startled me when I first moved to Kirkland. Same thing with Pagiiacci. But I suppose if you wanted a Domino's pizza you'd call them. Pros: Pizza like my dad used to make Cons: Pricey, and makes me miss my dad
