A Lovely Time!

We had a delightful stay at Park Lane Guest House. The grounds were lovely, and I enjoyed working and relaxing by the beautiful small pool and under the huge live oak. We stayed two nights in the Vicky Cottage, a Texas Tiny House, and it was great! We had a very nice stereo for our CD's, a nice small "kitchenette" with a microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee maker, and a lovely small bath. The bed was very comfortable, but be aware that you will have to climb a ladder to reach the loft bed, so don't book this cottage if you are afraid of heights. We stayed the third night in the Florentine, which was a very comfortable room in the main house. The breakfasts were delicious! The first day we had a lovely sundried tomato omelette with fresh fruit; the second day we had indivdual white nectarine and blueberry "cobblers" served with vanilla yogurt, and the third day we had a delicious waffle with fresh fruit, real maple syrup (not the fake kind), and vanilla yogurt. We highly recommend the Park Lane Guest House and we have already booked a return visit for the next time we are in Austin on business.
Pros: Comfortable beds, delicious food, the Vicky Cottage is terrific
Cons: None
