My family loves Carols! The staff is great, some of the best in all of the Portland area. The location is a old gas station or something. Carols is the type of place that all the ""locals"" frequent. Try the omelets. The eggs are cooked paper thin, then all kinds of high quality ingredients are rolled up, with a mass of awesome potatoes, and toast. Not the usual blubbery, hard omelet. Great with a sweet roll or hot chocolate. They also offer lunch and dinner, however we always order breakfast.
