When I went to Canela's for the first time I was very apprehensive about it, having never been to a massage therapist, but I stuck it out, and it was good. It was relaxing and a few weeks later I decided to go again, got a different therapist and there I discovered Delfin, so to speak.
I work 50 -60 hours a week, hunched over a computer...having lots of muscle pain in my shoulders and upper back. I would get migraines from staring at a computer screen all day, and I have arthritis in my legs; it was always recommended that I get a massage and now I know why. The first time I went he asked me what I needed. I told him and we went from there. It was amazing. After my first massage with him, I got up and every bone in my body cracked. There was no pain. I've gone back several times since and he always seems to know where the pain is, and works it out masterfully, applying just the right pressure. On top of being a wonderful massage therapist, he is a gentleman, always polite, and genuinely concerned with his clients well being. After going to see Delfin a few times my headaches are all but gone and while I still have shoulder pain from work, it's better,and continues to get better with each visit. He's a God send...thanks Delfin!
Pros: the staff is very friendly and helpful
Cons: parking is horrible, but if you walk it's good.
