I'm a resident of New Orleans East and every time I pass the Louisiana Nature Center I get disgusted. What is going on with it. It goes back to that saying"You can't see the forest for the trees" and that's an understatement. There might be all kinds of animals living there. It looks very unsafe for the neighborhoods with children playing outside, not knowing what might crawl from out of there. I'm trying to find out if there are any plans to clean up that area to make it presentable and safe.
