loud museum

Saturday, July 19, 2008
This is, by far, the loudest museum I have been to! They had lots of hard surfaces bouncing sounds off their loud hands-on exhibits! I actually plugged my ears at one point so that I could concentrate on what i was reading. I should also mention that it wasn't noisy because there were a lot of people there, because we were one of only four families we saw in the 2 hours we were there. There is general information the begging of seattle, the fish industry and lots of more modern information on seattle icons. They had 2 large photo galleries which were impressive, but not what I expected to see at that museum. I learned some things, but the WA State History Museum in Tacoma is a MUCH better museum. Pros: great photograph collections Cons: very noisy
