Went to restaurant for Saturday evening dinner bringing guests. I'd been there before a year earlier and the food was great. This time it was a serious disappointment. The head chef refused to accommodate the customer on a very minor point-- he allowed one to change the seafood pasta from spaghetti to linguini, but dispite having linguini for the special, he wouldn't allow the other two to make the substitution. Quite bizarre. Overall the food was mediocre this time. But the pastry chef was superb. A new chef must have been hired who was not up to par.
Pros: the pastry chef and service were very good
Cons: the head chef and quality of food were disappointments
