Horrible Customer Service

I went to Vespa with a small group of friends and we requested to sit in the garden. To our horror, they refused to seat us. The front of the restaurant was completely empty so we said we would just sit up front if there was no room. Again they refused to seat us. Little did they know we were a group of successful educated customers that all lived in the neighborhood. It seems this place is the stereotypical Upper East Side establishment that we thought didn't exist anymore, especially in 2008 - in NEW YORK! I've told all my friends, stay far away from this place, at least until they change management.
Pros: Great neighborhood
Cons: Below par Customer Service and Ambience, Snobby customer base
