On a level with the best

It's not fancy, but the food rates among the best down-to-earth nonpretentious Italian food i've ever had.
When I lived across the street 20 years ago it was a mainstay for delivery and it was just like a pizza stand then. Now there is a pleasant dining room. Service very friendly. Among three people we had a huge antipasto salad that we couldn't finish, a cooked antipasto with clams, stuffed mushrooms and eggplant,
veal parmigiana with spaghetti and chicken parmigiana with linguini. It tastes so good that I want to go back everynight I am in New York. Now I live in a pretentious, hicktown where the finest Italian ristorante couldn't come close to this classic. Total with tip was $67 and that was for 2 huge antipasti, one cold and one cooked, 2 entrees, dessert and coffee and leftovers to go.
Pros: Food, service, location, price
