As a customer service representative, I found the level of service here very poor. I ordered a new D300 Nikon and a Nikor 18-135 digital lens. The lens was purchased on day 1 while the camera body came a week later. I was not able to test the lens in the store. I experienced several problems with the camera F-stop not reading and the pictures not coming out and went in for answers. I was told I should not have bought a camera of this caliber if I could not understand it. I continued to experience problems with the F-stop not reading and the pictures not coming out. After three attempts with Wolf Camera, I went to San Jose Camera and was told the lens was defective. I took it back to Wolf and was told they would not do anything about it, that I had to send it to Nikon for repair. The lens was defective from the beginning and I am out over $400. The manager also told me I should not be concerned about the quality of my pictures unless I was shooting for National Geographic. I was quite offended by his lack of concern over my equipment and his attitude about what I am or am not doing with my pictures. It should make no difference what kind of shooting I am doing. A photographer always looks for the best photo. I am completely disatisfied with the experience I had with this company and will not go back to this store. I will drive the 45 miles to another store who will provide the expertise and materials I need. Pros: Camera Body was terrific. Cons: service and equipment more
