Have been special ordering and buying from Don at Habitation for almost 7 years. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate - spend time with me going over ideas. I've never been disappointed. Is it possible to have a bad experience? Maybe. But this place is so much fun to be in, shop at and try things - and the staff is always nothing but helpful. I've been able to return a piece of furniture (albeit, not a custom job - no need to anyway, I've been pleased with all my pieces) that didn't work in my house.
The place is great - prices a great. I can't recommend Habitation enough. Budgets are considered. You can go in with an idea and an image - Don worked with me to create my pieces. Told me what was possible and what wasn't - even included things I didn't consider (because what do I know - I don't work with design and wood!)
If what you want can't be done for the budget you're working with, they'll tell you and will work with you to come up with something that will work.
So, you get an education and a nice piece of furniture! not bad, eh? I love Habitation. I tell everyone about it. If you want a home that reflects more of you, that is not like every other house on the block, then you need to check this place out.
