BEST DESSERTS/ AMBIENCE

I've eaten at VERMONT on a number of occasions.
The ambience is elegant without being
snobbish.
My favorite dishes are the mussels, fettucine, duck salad,
and their homemade soups.
Also, the apple tart is a classic as well as the flourless
chocolate cake, and once in awhile they have a delicious
cheesecake.
Apart from the waiters who are caring, the host/hostess
come around to see that all is well and my friends
have commented it is like eating at a friend's home,
in a personal dining room, with much attention paid.
