We went to Abys while visiting friends in West Hartfor and were very pleasantly surprised to learn that the owners were from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am from Colombia and had the opportunity to speak to Aby (Isabel), one of the two owners. She impressed me as a very honest human being. She said she only uses the freshest and best ingredients in whatever she bakes, because she knows her reputation is at stake. She told us she comes from a family of panaderos bakers and feels very proud to serve her clientele. She is very well versed in politics and any other subject you want to discuss. Aby is very funny, short and has a contagious laugh. We will definitely tell everyone to go and give Abys a chance. She deserves it and YOU deserve to eat some delicious pastries. Please do try the factura with caf???? con leche.
