great food, great wine

Saturday, April 19, 2008
The food and wine where killer. The environment was a bit loud and you are elbow to elbow with the adjacent tables. The dishes are pretty small but well prepared. I respect a man that takes pride in his work the chef was that man. I stood and watched him for a few minutes and was very impressed. I would recommend the roasted beets, steak tartare or the polenta. We drank the 03 barbaresco, it was killer. The port was to my pleasure as well, I had the porta rocha 1975. Pros: food, wine, service Cons: not much space
