I am amazed that the owner of this business was so very nice... her name is Tina. But when there were problems, she would not even return my phone calls. I am not happy with my glasses, and they do not have any other choices... so I am stuck with them at a cost of well over $400. Previously, I had thin wire frames. These are silver, bright, plastic frames; I can't seem to get used to them, as I see the sides of them at all times. Also, the lenses appear to be [and feel like] very cheap plastic. They smear and smear and smear unless you use a commercial lens cleaner always.
GO TO LENSCRAFTERS OR EYEMASTERS!!!! They provide everyone with a 100% UNCONDITIONAL GUARANTEE. One has a 30-day guarantee and one is 60-days, I believe. No matter what you don't like, you can return them for a full refund. NOT TRUE AT PEARLE. First of all, Pearle Vision... the nat'l company has a 60-day guarantee to choose new ones, adjust those, etc. NOT a full return. HOWEVER, the memphis area stores say they are NOT the same as Pearle Vision.... as they are a FRANCHISE!!!! THey make their own rules. Their "conditional" guarantee is only 30 days... for adjustments... not money back.
I spent money there, too to have their In-House Optometrist do my new prescription. Complained, but was told it was the right prescription. Went to Ophthalmologist and was told BOTH eyes had the wrong RX. One was too weak and one too strong. They did agree to remake the lenses.
It takes them a 5 to 10 days to make your glasses and if they are special ones, 10 days... BUSINESS days minimum. They can't do one-hour!
Even if you have to pay a little more at Lenscrafters or EyeMasters, who wouldn't go there in case you have problems??? I remain unhappy, and will hope to tell it to everyone I come into contact with.
Pros: None if you aren't happy.
Cons: No returns allowed, EVER, Franchise makes own rules. Said they were "sorry."
