I have been shopping at Barnes & Noble in Broomall since they opened fifteen years ago. Surely their service has improved over the years. I would say within the last 5 years I've noticed a much more personable staff. I'm sure it has something to do with the management. I was curious about the customer Virginia F.'s comment about "getting no assistance." I'm pretty sure she was actually in the Borders only 3 miles away. They have the worst service and their store was messy. I'm sure their people are nice but they just don't go out of their way for you as I have experienced in my Barnes & Noble. In fact, I stood behind a customer within the last week (as I shop there weekly) who didn't know what store she was in. She was trying to use a Borders gift card. It was probably that woman. Well, I was certainly NOT impressed with her.
