I was initially happy to recommend Best Friends for boarding, however that is no longer the case. The policy for cancellation is very unfair & when confronted for a reconsideration - the female manager was very unhelpful! I made a reservation one week prior to drop-off & when I tried to cancel the reservation 5 days prior to drop-off (only 2 business days later)...I was told my $75.00 deposit was non-refundable! The policy is that you must cancel 1 week in advance, however that would mean I would have had to cancel the same day as the reservation was made! This policy is their cheap attempt to swindle people out of a deposit & I find it very petty. My deposit could be credited for future use, however that obligates me to future use & I again feel 'trapped.' I completely understand that a cancellation policy is important, however 72 hours would be sufficient & better flexibility for patrons. I expect better customer service for a high-end boarding operation & I hope they learn from my loss of business. Don't be unlucky like me! more
