We used t frequent the Spitfire quite often, but won't be going back again! There is really only one good waitress and if she's not there, plan to have a long wait for service & food! Leaving that aside, our last visit we ordered Eggs Benedict...something I look forward to as a treat every now & again. So our best waitress wasn't there & we waited quite sometime for service. It was at least 45 minutes before our meal arrived and the Eggs Benedict was covered in chicken gravy instead of Hollandaise. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement! It was gross and, of course, I didn't eat it! The response to my complaint was not well taken and I had to explain why chicken gravy isn't acceptable! Needless to say, we'll venture up to Ocean Park for much better food and service, from now on!
Pros: Great patio to enjoy the small airplanes & atmosphere
Cons: Service stinks & the chef best go back to culinary school!
