Avoid this repair shop! Create more damage than repairs! 3/21/2008

I brought my Japanese import for a simple oil change, using my own synthetic brand and oil filter. Since I do not trust anybody I insisted on personally watching to make sure the job was going to be done right. What happened next I was absolutely horrified as the mechanic placed the feet of the hoist, right on the plastic molding, causing my fender to buckle, rivets to strain. I was immediately upset and demanded he lower my vehicle so I could inspect for damage which he refused and dismissed my complaint as frivilous. When my car was finally lowered, my door jam was no longer aligned and it was obvious my car was now physically damaged. I then had to call the police to make a report so I could document what happened, the mechanic was starting to panick and was trying to remove my car from the shop and he also refused to give me a reciept for the work performed. When the police came the mechanic refused to give his personal information and was told by them there would be trouble if he didn't. At any rate I brought my car to a body shop to determine if any damage was there. They inspected my car and said it was indeed damaged but the alignment of the fender was still within specs but at the outer edge. I would advise anybody not to bring their car to this repair shop as the mechanic was too lazy and did not care about damaging customers cars. You simply never put the feet of the hoist on any plastic part to raise a car. Its the wrong thing to do and unprofessional. I've brought my car to many other shops and they were very careful not to damage my car. This place does not respect others. Pros: Close to home Cons: Unprofessional staff that are callous and will damage your vehicle more
