I thought Blue Fish was the best sushi I had tried thus far in Dallas, however, I found Hanasho and now it's my sushi spot!! While the service is a little slower than I would like, and they don't serve Coca Cola products, the quality of the food and portions make up for that. The Bento Boxes are out of this world and a great bargain for the amount of food you get. Their sushi rolls are very creative and packed with so much flavor. The sushi chefs have been at the restaurant for years and are all Japanese sushi pros! The wait staff is not very helpful when you have questions about certain sushi or exotic rolls. They don't really know their sushi well enough to give you a good recommendation. I would suggest asking one of their talented chefs if you're not sure about ordering something new.
Pros: Small, quiet, rarely cvercrowded atmosphere
Cons: Wait staff is not that knowledgeable about their sushi, and the service is slow, they are understaffed.
