I just had one of the best Japanese restaurant experiences in a long time. I've been to numerous Japanese restaurants in New York City but the have always been underwhelmed by the food and overwhelmed by the price. It's a challenge to find the combination of great food with the right price. Sachiko's on Clinton on the Lower East Side is the right place that has dispelled my longstanding feeling about Japanese restaurants in the city. It has great food, excellent service and an ambiance that combines elegance with a touch of neighborhood that is perfect for a date, a small get together with friends, or a bite to eat after Yoga.
Pros: Food, Drinks, Service, Ambience
Cons: Potentially pricey
