I?ve been going to Mika for years and have watched her move from stylist to senior stylist to the director of the entire salon and I can understand why?she always gives me exactly what I want and gives me the time I need to figure out what that may be. She has a vision for what she wants to do with you, but really talks to you to see what you want and what you?ll be comfortable with.
For my wedding, she began planning my wedding day look with me since the moment I got engaged. She suggested I have Nyree create custom clip-in extensions so that my hair would be fuller and hold a style better for the whole day. I met with Nyree and we talked about what I really wanted (fullness for me, not length, although you can certainly just get them for length). She then took tons of measurements, and went through swatch after swatch to make sure that the extensions would blend in with my hair color and look natural. And they do! I absolutely love the extensions Nyree made for me and the bonus is that since they are clip-ins, I can wear them whenever I want. The extensions are incredibly pricey, but they last for years and in my opinion, were worth it.
It?s been an amazing experience. Both Mika and Nyree always give me tons of attention and address my every concern (and as a nervous bride-to-be, I assure you, I?ve got lots of concerns!). I always walk out of Salon AKS with a huge smile on my face since, in addition to looking great, I also feel great after seeing Mika and Nyree.
