The Service is Always Exceptional and the Staff Very Friendly and Accomodating

I happened to be reading some of the reviews for this spa (as I've gone there for 6 years now) and I have to say that when I read about how Mandi "pushes" products, etc and that they added the products into the bill when cashing out, etc, etc...well....quite frankly, it's nonsense. Mandi has been my esthetician for almost the entire 6 years ( I have also seen Laura as well - they are both excellent) and she has NEVER pushed any product on my or any of the 15 to 20 referrals I've sent them over the last several years. Everyone I know has always had great service and loves the fact that none of the staff (and certainly not Mandi - you'll see what I mean when you meet her) push product on them. They are incredibly busy with skin care and the medical estheticians do have assistants and I enjoy working with them as well. When I don't need to see a medical esthetician however and just want a relaxing facial I simply request one esthetician for the entire service and my wishes are always granted. When I receive my peels or acne treatments I always see either Mandi or Laura first so they can check on my skins improvements and give me the appropriate treatment. I also love their beverage spa pedicures, I had mine this past weekend with 2 friends - the gingerbread pedicure, martini included, was great and it was so relaxing!!! Anyway, just wanted to say that the staff not only cares tremendously that you have a wonderful experience but the services and atmosphere are always top notch. Thank you Somers Day Spa & Salon, you guys are really terrific. Bonnie
