Several years ago we placed my nother in Greenwood Gardens.It was owned by the Cara Vita corporation which was a small compary of about 4 facilities. It was a loving, caring community with good food. The activities director was a very qualified social director. She was well trained and enjoyed the residents.She left for a higher paying job when the company was still Cara Vita, and we were sorry to see her go, but she was replaced by a director who was so qualified and so creative that the residents were forever smiling. There was always some kind of activity going on and everyone was happy, especially the residents. I don't know anyone who did not love this woman for all she did for our parents. Cara Vita was bought out by a company called Assisted Living Concepts, Inc. and our wonderful activities director left a few weeks after the new corporation took over, as have many other good staff members.
