I first want to start out by saying that this place might just have the worst Barbaque in Texas. The fact that when you pull up you smell meat being cooked by gas instead of a smoke pit should tell you something. Run for the door. For a Barbaque joint the menu should be simple and small. The menu here is larger than the menu at Luby's and the food has been sitting around for about twice as long. . The hamburgers are frozen patties. Not even fresh ground beef. The salads which are displayed through a glass window, were wilting. The cucumbers where wrinkly from being cut and put in cooler for about a week. Needless to say, this place doesnt throw away food when it starts to go bad. The old saying ""If I wouldnt eat it, then I wont sell it,"" means absolutely nothing to this place. The pork sandwhich I received was so dry that either it was cooked the day before or they left it in the oven for far too long...yes I said oven...When I asked why it was so dry, they asked me if I wanted more sauce...my jaw dropped open yet they seemed to think that there wasnt a problem. Although they knew it was extremely dry they said that the meat was a lean cut as if that should be an excuse. If you are in the area do yourself and favor and just head to Thelma's. Although the lines are long and Thelma can scold you like you're five years old again...the food is worth it.
Cons: Overpriced, Dry old food. Staff is also worthless
