I was a patient of Dr. Uman's for more than 20 years. When he retired a couple of weeks ago none of his patients were notified. The only reason I know is because I sent an annual evaluation form to his office, as I do every year, and after no response I called only to find out he retired. My guess is it is the cancer come back, but they won't say...and there was no followup on my disability form. Tough luck all around I guess. \r

I was told I could see Dr. Gaulthier. I have an appointment in December and will report back. It will be hard to replace Dr. Uman...that guy was the best.
