I had high hopes for this place, however, I was very disappointed. First off, the service was horrible. It took the waiter 20 minutes to take our order and bring water, and another 30 minutes to get our food. I could understand slow service if the restaurant was busy, but there were only 4 other tables with patrons. Those tables did not have to wait for service, yet we were ignored. The food was mediocre at best, and overpriced. Plus, House of Hong has the audacity to bring tea to the table without our requesting it, and then charge us for the tea! We decided to give this place another shot a few months later, and it was worse than the first trip. We went for Dim Sum one weekend, and it was worse than our first meal. We had three small plates from the carts and ordered a dish that never came (and we were charged for it). The total was much more than we expected and we both left hungry with a horrible stomach ache after eating what we could get down. I will definitely never return to this restaurant.
