Tried out this new thai place and wasn't too impressed. We ordered some spicy chicken wings for an appetizer (plus insisted them to be ""thai hot""). They were okay, but not at all spicy, like they forgot to make them hot. Disappointing...\r \r We order a fish dish (Pla Lad Prik ). The person taking our order came out later to ask if we would want the entire fish stating it would taste better... The dish looked great. When we started to eat the fish, the white meat tasted like mold to me. I ate a few bites and decided not to risk a chance of food poisioning. Each time I tried again to eat the fish, the meat tasted awful. As my sister ate the section closer to the tail, the taste was more intense. My sister thought it tasted like mercury to her. \r \r When bringing this to the waiter's attention, she took the dish back and came out to say that she tried the fish and there was nothing wrong with it. Asked if we wanted another fish to be made. I didn't want to risk another bad fish coming out, so we declined. And to top off this ""great"" dinner, the bill comes with only a 20% off including the moldy fish dinner, which should have been taken off the bill. \r \r If you want great thai food, try out these two favorite resturants of mine: Bangkok Thai Cuisine on Greenback - makes the greatest spicy chicken appetizer I've tasted! and Ming Thai on Sunrise - great lunch specials. more
