This school is a good school but it needs some work. One good thing about Long Cane is the small class sizes. I would like to see this school expand its horizons and find a way to include more of the community. Several of the classes were so small that the second and third were in the same class together. I feel that this would have been more conducive for the children if a Montessori teacher who is trained to work with children of various ages. I believe that this school serves a purpose. I would like to see it grow into a place where the regions best and brightest students would attend.
