i have two big dogs who love to hang out with other dogs. i used to take them to dogworks when i travel for biz, until my last visit (6/07). most other reviews are accurate -- their yard handlers are GREAT, but their desk management staff is TERRIBLE. they are rude, lazy, and unknowledgeable. for instance, they called me the day before i was bringing my dogs in for 5 days to tell me that one of my dogs needed bordatella update. which was incorrect -- so after 3 calls back and forth, they realized it was my second dog, and it wasnt bordatella it was a titer for rabies. i was put on hold for 5-10 mins each, and once they hung up on me. i got it all sorted out (a lot of patience from me), dropped them off, and a few days later came to pick them up. FYI -- the groomers are GREAT there, and the all-hours drop off/pick up is so helpful. When i picked them up, the bed i left for them was literally soaked with urine (and this is a massive bed). clearly -- these dogs were not let out of their cages for over 12 hours (they can go 12 without urinating). this is INSANE -- i pay $150 per night for this?? when i asked them about it, they said -- oh, it happens, dogs get stressed. Uh uh -- my dogs have been there MANY times, never happened before. and stress wouldnt be saturated urine. don't take your dogs there -- they are not worth the $$ any more.
Pros: air conditioned, handlers understand dogs
Cons: terrible management, rude desk staff, dogs clearly not let out of cages for hours
