As the owner of Cabana Tans nothing makes me more unhappy than a customer that doesn't feel they got good service or personal attention from myself or my staff. The staff and I attend National Tanning Conventions and Seminars on tanning throughout the year. One of the things that we learn at these events is how to take care of our equipment so that our customers receive the maximum amount of tan for their money. Products that are sold at drugstores, discount stores, etc. do ruin the acrylics in our beds. (We have one acrylic on display in our waiting room to show the effect of these products.) I do not care if a customer does not purchase their tanning lotion from us, but we do require that it is purchased from a tanning salon. We carry a very large selection of lotions ranging from $15 on up. In response to jen22584 she was using a spray oil which no tanning salon OWNER would allow in their beds. The ages of my employees: 22, 40 and I am 71. The two employess that are 18 and 19 are never working alone, but with one of the three above. I can only say that we try.. and there is an old saying ""that you can not please everyone all the time,"" seems to be the only answer in this situation. I hope she finds a salon that she is happy tanning with. more
