Happy Taste Buds

Habana is one of my favorite restaurants. They have some of the most amazing appetizers, such as the crab cakes, the calamari, crawfish, ahi tuna on plantains, and the fried avocado is interesting. Their dinner entrees are pretty amazing across the board, and i love the seared ahi tuna that comes with mashed potatoes and little fried onions...yummy. The only entree that i have not particularly liked was the Paella. The chicken was REALLY rubbery and dry. But other than that this place is 5 stars accross the board. In regards to their lunch menu, i was impressed. The portions are a little smaller, which is perfect for me, and the prices are a little lower. My cousin and i split the spinach salad with shrimp (excellent), and the plantain crusted chicken sandwich (too good for words). The chicken sandwich comes with really good fries and coleslaw. Another plus for many is that there is outside seating which allows smoking cigarettes, and even cigars (at certain times of the day). This is probably the best chill, hip restaurant in all of O.C. Oh and the drinks are strong too...............i love the sparkling red wine and the sangria is good too (but really strong). You will not be dissapointed.
Pros: outside seating, atmosphere, flavorful food and good drinks
Cons: parking
