We went for restaurant week. I had the steakhouse salad which was VERY basic and I agree with a previous review that cited cheap supermarket croutons. I got the ribeye, asked for medium but it was medium well. It comes with a lot of melted butter on top, A LOT. I was just ok, nohting special, not awful but forgettable and overdone. We ordered an extra side to share (au gratin potatoes) and it was very small and nothing special. Dessert was some kind of ""chocolate mousse"" but it really seemed like a no bake pie recipe from the back of the jello box. The ambience and lighting are nice, service was just ok. Overall, not a good value for the regular menu. This is why I take advantage of restaurant week! I would not go back at full price. Morton's is so much better, as are so are many other places like Luger's, Angelo & Maxie's, Smith & Wollenky, Ben Benson's. I would not recommend it.
Pros: Nice lighting, ambience
Cons: Food prepared carelessly, bad value for the $$$
