I took my car into DC auto to get my windows tinted. Initially all went well until I went to pick my car up. I paid $180 for the tint. The craftsmanship was subpar. The front two windows looked good, but the back two and rear window had lots of bubbles. I was told they would go away in a week. That never happened. So, I have to take my car back in.\r

Now, this wouldn't be a big problem except the people at DC auto are dirty. I have a brand new car that I detailed for three hours the day before the tint went on. When I went to pick it up there was water ALL over the outside of my car. This isn't some cheap KIA we are taking about. It had been left sitting outside the shop in 100 degree weather and the water spots had caked into my paint. Again, I am not talking about a few drops, the entire outside of my car was drenched in water and no attempt was made to clean it. I take this as a godsend because they probably would have used a substandard towel to dry it off and left scratches all over my paint.\r

So, what did I get for $180? Substandard tint, and one DIRTY DIRTY car. I got to spend my weekend detailing my car for five hours with a random orbital polisher to remove all the water spots that had dried onto my paint. \r

I guess when I go back and try to get my rear windows done I will have to tell them to call me immediately so I can go home and wash my car! If you don't care about your paint or a quality tint job then by all means over pay and go here.
Pros: People at front desk were nice.
Cons: Everything else.
