Nothing made it exceptional

The flavors didn't stir any excitement beyond what I might get in the frozen food section at Metropolitan Market. The service was friendly and accommodating. The ambiance felt formulaic--another restaurant hopping on the wine-bar band wagon. There are 3 other wine bars in the same number of blocks. Give one of them a try. If they are full, swing back to Volterra.
