Word of warning to anyone considering employment at Michaels...DON'T DO IT!! I know first hand as well as hearing from other employees. This is one of the worst companies to work for. \r

While they come across as professional and very promising don't be fooled by the ruse. \r

It's all part of the facade. Once you are in it's nothing but lie after lie, excuse after excuse.\r

This company is cheap. They hire menimal employees and work the hell out of them while compensation is less than desirable paying as little as possible.\r

They start you in a position with little or no training and by the end of the day you feel degrated and humiliated.\r
\r
The management takes full advantage of their position. They often takes personal problems out on you as well as, yell, talk down and belittle you in front of customers and other employees. \r

Ther rules also change as they see fit. \r
\r
One example would be... a Dr. note that had always been fine before was suddenly no longer exceptable.
