When I adopted a new puppy, I called this vet as they were recommended by a pet-owner at a puppy park.. Unfortunately, I was greeted with the snobby response of ""We are not taking new patients, and even if we did, you could not get in here until July."" When I asked for further recommendations of where to go, since we are new to Philadelphia, the less-than-helpful receptionist snidely advised that the phone book listed over 20 vets in Philadelphia. I was so taken aback by her rudeness, that I hung up. If the front desk cannot be nice to a pet-owner, I would never allow the office - anyone in it - to treat my new puppy.
