Horrible service and product quality 5/14/2007

On October 21, 2006 I purchased a 42 inch Sharp Aquos LCD/HDTV, 1080 HP TV from a Circuit City store in Duluth GA, store number 3220. I was in the process of moving and had been living in an apartment while waiting for my house to be built. I checked the TV at the time of purchase to make sure the screen was not broken and to check for other visible damages. However, I did not take it out of the box since I would have to repack it for the move. Once I moved into my new home, I opened the box to find the mount in horrible condition and the TV had a blue haze around the picture and then the TV would not turn on. I explained this to Circuit City, store # 3220, and was treated rudely by management. I was accused of damaging the TV. However, if someone had come to see the TV, they would be able to see that damage had been done prior to my use. I did purchase a warranty with the TV and was hoping this would resolve my issue, but it has been three weeks and I still do not have a TV. I purchased this TV with the expectations of getting a new TV; however, the TV I received had clearly been used. The Duluth Circuit City store is in the practice of selling used TVs as new. Furthermore, the TV floor manager, Mike Jones, and store manager, Ed Crumb, did not handle the compliant properly and were very rude. Circuit City store number 3220 does not insure good customer service, nor does it honor the products they sell. Given I spent over $3000 at Circuit City, I expected to be treated with more respect than I was. NEVER, AND I MEAN, NEVER BUY A PRODUCT FROM THIS CIRCUIT CITY OR ANY OTHER CIRCUIT CITY. I also received no help from corporate in this matter. I did not even get a call back. Cons: Terrible customer service from top to bottom more
