I have super curly hair and have always had a hard time finding someone who can work with it. The ladies down at Rudy's did an okay job for a while, but they had too much ego for me. They didn't listen when I told them to do something this way or leave that conditioner in. Look, you may think you know better because you studied at Vidal or something, but I've lived with my freaking hair my whole life! I think I know what I'm talking about by now. The hair stylist at Hair Dooz was different. She actually LISTENED to me. Not that she's a god and can't make mistakes, but I was defnitely pleased. She heard what I said, did what I suggested, and even made some fun suggestions for a new style. I ended up loving it. I will definitely go back!
Pros: stylists that actually listen
Cons: a little pricy, but I'm used to cutting my own hair... so I can't really complain
