I read the other reviews and could not believe the negativity people had about this restaurant. Aside from the offbeat location that is not ideal to get to, once you get there it's a great restaurant. Nothing fancy but good quality food. Surprisingly the other reviews talk about the chicken and salad at this restaurant - come on people it is a seafood restaurant. The clam chowder is out of this world as are the main dishes. The calamari they have - both types - are my favorite! I have been to this restaurant at least a dozen times in the last 10 years and the food is consistently good. The service isn't 1st class but honestly, we're talking about crocket here, what do you expect. I've never had a negative experience with the wait staff but if you're looking for a warm smile and hug then this is not the place for you. If you're looking for great food then Nantucket is the place!
