Felt Like a Home Cooked Meal in a Small Town 4/5/2007

We were there for lunch this week and, after having read all the reviews, it was about what we expected. This is not supposed to be a fine dining experince- it is a small mom + pop operation in the best sort of way. The food was inexpensive, delicious and had a home-cooked feel. I don't eat much Greek food, so I couldn't comment on its authenticity, but there were several patrons that were Greek-speaking and we enjoyed our food. The woman who sat us (maybe one of the owners?) was very welcoming. Our server was definitely no waitressing dynamo, but she was helpful with the menu and friendly enough. The atmopshere also felt very homemade with all sorts of odd-ball, tacky touches. We sat in the sunroom in back- which is fun in an aesthetically-challenged way and a good alternative to a cafe when it's too cold outside. Pros: Good, Inexpensive Food Cons: Mediocre Atmosphere and Service more
