I found this place close to a year ago while walking around West Loop. What first caught my eye was the fact that they carried my favorite beer and wings for 25 cents a piece on Sundays. But the most obvious thing I noticed was the 90-some brands of beer they carry. From Lagers to Ales to Lambics, you're sure to find a favorite (or a long lost one) with the varieties they carry. Best thing, ""cheap"" beer is virtually non existant here (fans of Rolling Rock and Coors Light are SOL). Sure, you're STILL find your Buds and Miller Lite and High Life (served in a champagne glass if you like, hence the ""Champagne of beers"") and PBR but that's about it for the cheapos. And the food is good too. You can't beat a $5 cheese pizza special on Mondays, $2 1/3 lb Burgers Tuesdays, $2 cans Wednesdays, or 1/2 off appitizers Thursdays (and $5 Martinis), not to mention 25 cent wings Sundays, EVEN DURING FOOTBALL SEASON!!! If you're up for a challenge, ask about their Beer Club card. Finish all 90-some vatieties of beer and get a FREE case of beer (more than a 6 or 12 pk FYI) plus a $25 gift certificate on them. So come and check out this place on the weekends, after work, after an Oprah show taping, or after a game at the United Center (did I mention they have a shuttle to take you there and back); you won't be disappointed. PS, did I mention White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen comes to this bar?
Pros: BEER!!! Good food, awesome staff, BEER CLASSES on last Wendesday of the month
Cons: Parking, selection doesn't get rotated as much as it should, can use new food on menu
