i don't get the hype about this place at all! though there was plenty i liked about it- unpretentious staff, no pushing products on you- it just wasn't worth the price i paid for it. even though i gave them an idea of what i was looking for, i feel like they tend to go towards a certain style (which I can only describe as ""the asian bob"") because it seemed like almost everyone else in there was getting the same style. overall, the experience and cut were fine but i've had better cuts for a more reasonable price so i won't be returning. \r

by the way, i was surprised at the price of my cut ($85), seeing as the reviews on here mention $55- but on closer look you'll see the reviews go back to 2002.
Pros: not pushy, unpretentious
Cons: pricey for what you get, 30 minute wait even with an appointment
