This past weekend, my friends and I received very poor service from those of C'est Bon. Prior to arriving at the location, a reservation was made for up to 25 people. We had close to 20 in our party and were told we would have 2 servers. Tell me why we waited 40 minutes just for water! Which by the way, was not refilled until we told the manager about it before paying our bill. As far as the alcoholic beverages, some in our party went to the bar and ordered the same drink they had already ordered with the servers and returned with them before receiving the order made with the servers. These orders were made at the bar 20 minutes after making the orders with the servers. By the way, the drinks ordered with the server were not the same price as those ordered from the bar. My meal was given to someone else; therefore, I had to wait for my order to be prepared again, by the time I received it, everyone in my party was nearly done eating. When I informed the manager, she never apologized. She simply stated she would address the crew. A couple in our party was double charged the 20% gratuity; they were charged $8 on a $20 bill. One of the meals they ordered had to be taken off the bill, the food was poorly prepared. The food was dry and overcooked. Others in our party were charged a gratuity ranging between 20 & 25 percent. Again, we received this poor service having 2 servers. One of the two did not know anything when she was asked a question and the other was hardly ever seen at our table. We had to ask for the complimentary bread that is supposed to be given. And the kicker...the birthday girl was given the wrong meal. Becuase she didn't want to have to wait an absurd amount of time and possibly receive any employee additives, she went ahead and ate the meal. A piece of advice for all of you who DO NOT carry cash, C'est Bon charges an additional 20% to your check to be held by the bank until the price of the order is paid; this is added to credit/debit card users. Pros: If you are going as party of 2, you MIGHT receive good service. Your server will have less to deal with. Cons: C'est Bon is not the place for a large group. more
